Light of Life Rescue Mission is seeking a full-time Executive Support Generalist. This position performs a wide range of administrative support for all Light of Life departments and Directors. It requires customer service practices, prioritizing all work requrested, following an internal customer service process, and charging the each department for work done.

These responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:

  • Answer incoming phone calls, taking messages, greeting visitors
  • Input information and write ups into Raisers Edge/Donor Pro
  • Coordinate office volunteers
  • Support the website and social media
  • Order office supplies
  • Enter data for reports; attendance, surveys etc.
  • Compile and edit documents
  • Make reservations for camp retreats, reservations, holiday events, and transportation
  • Send meeting requests and reserve conference rooms
  • Weekly projects as requested

Due to the interface with the clients, all jobs at Light of Life require employees to:

  • Walk alongside clients as a disciple of Christ and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them through actions and words.
  • Establish mutual trust and create a safe, authentic environment so that the clients continue to mature in Christ.
  • Serve the clients in a Christ-like manner and practice a self-evaluative lifestyle.
  • Resolve all issues in ways that promote the principles of Light of Life while following the processes described in the LOL staff manual.
  • Exhibit love for Jesus Christ, the staff, and the clients.
  • Study the Christian Bible and apply the knowledge received/revealed to job duties and clients' specific issues.
  • Help the clients make choices that are justifiably in their eternal best interest.
  • Practice Christ Like stewardship of all resources.
  • Model personal responsibility, accountability, timely reporting and a self-evaluative lifestyle

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Organizing work, including prioritizing, scheduling and filing
  • Taking initiative, making decisions and using creativity to ensure work requested gets done on time
  • Working with multiple projects at the same time
  • Customer service
  • Business writing, proof reading, editing and correspondence

Education/Experience:

  • 2+ years experience working as an Adminisrative Asssitant
  • Bachelor degree preferred with strong writing skills
